About Anne Kimbell

Anne Kimbell (1932-2017), author of Assignment Paris, The Ibeji Twins, and To Catch a Spy, lived and worked in Tunisia and the Republic of Chad under the auspices of the US Department of State. A former Broadway actress, she published articles in the Foreign Service Journal and the Christian Science Monitor. She co-authored with Karen Wilson How to Communicate with Difficult People.

Anne Kimbell lived in Laguna Beach, California, and in Westcliffe, Colorado, where she founded, developed, and served as Artistic Director of the nonprofit Westcliffe Center for the Performing Arts and the Historic Jones Theater. Her daughter Christiane Relph has assumed her Mother's role in support of WCPA and the theater.
